Absolutely unexpected we got the chance, to buy Opus and import him to Germany. A stroke of luck for us!!  Opus is provably a non carrier of all testable hereditary diseases, including excellent hips.  He can never produce offspring, that is affected with MDR1, Grey Collie Syndrom, PRA or CEA-CH, no matter how much affected the mate may be. 

 

Opus has a very easy-going and cheerful temperament. He is friendly to everyone. He has an average height of 61cm, a very good long neck, a straight back and a wonderful long tail give him an elegant appearence. The head is perfectly shaped with impressive, dark eyes. The gait is powerful with good drive of the hindquarter. He uses this drive very well when he does dry-carting. He is really strong and powerful. His first offspring was born in 2009. He was mated to German, American and Canadian bloodlines and showed us his quality as a sire. We are very proud of his 40 kids in 2009 and we decided, now to offer him for stud service to approved bitches.  He will be used for a limited number of 5 litters each year. 

Opus lives with Angelika Koj in the near of Mainz at American Catwalk Collies. Angelika is the co-owner of Opus.
