Irish came to us when he nearly 4 years old. I got in contact to his breeder Denise Schroeder of Northern Classic Collies in Minnesota in 2010. In march, we visited her to purchase two descendants of her stud "Mason's Regal Shadow" and to bring them to Germany. Denise put a great trust in us with selling us Miley and her halfbrother "Northern Classic Kiss Me I'm Irish", callname Irish. Irish and Miley are the first  descendants of Mason, that were sold with "full registration", that means with breeding permisson. Why are the Mason puppies so special?


Mason's Regal Shadow

Mason is the actor and film star of the latest "LASSIE" film, that was made in Irland in 2006 with Peter O'Toole. The film was very successfull is the USA and the most parts of Europe.  (more infos about Mason's filmcarreer click here!) The inquiries for his offspring with "Lassie-look" was enormous. To protect Mason's puppies from misuse, just a few litters were born at Northern Classic Collies and all were sold with limited registration as family dogs. We fell very honored, that she sold us two Mason kids with full registration! Thank you very much Denise!!

We will use Miley and Irish for breeding with the same responsibility. Puppies from Miley or Irish will be sold as family dogs only. In spite of their famous sire and their inherited "Lassie-Look", we want to point out, thet we do not breed copies of the Lassie filmfigure with them. Every pup that we breed has its own wonderful character and an own special personality, that is similar to "Lassie", but  surely not 100% the same! 

 

Irish is a stunning stud with 63 cm height and 35kg weight. He has a beautiful deep dark sable color with a bright white collar and a bright blaze. He has a wonderful long neck and an imposing expression. Here are some pictures, when he was a little one:

Irish's dam is "Pinetop Radiant Rose", called Natalie:

She is a compact bitch with wonderful color, excellent coat and a very friendly character, that she showed to us when we visited her :-) She had four litters so far, every one with Mason, Irish was one pup of the first litter.

Irish captivates with his extremely friendly and calm character. He brings a great trust to people and is always trying ot give his best. He is trained as a school therapy dog and has a favour for all other pets: cats. horses, cavies, everything is interesting and he friendly tries to get in contact with them.

His first Eurpean offspring was born in September 2010 here at Heatherland. His pups have a lovely character, bright white collar and markings  and a very good dark sable color. We are vey satisfied with them.

Irish lives as a family dog with two other Collies in the near of Gießen with a friend of us, Marion.
