In 2008 we had the chance to lease the US-import "Silver Cloud's Black Lakota" for one litter. Loki was a very agile and intelligent girl, with completely fresh bloodlines. She won 2008  the titles "Best Female" and "Best in Show" at our Eurpean Winners Show under the American judge Carol Chapman (Hanover Collies).

Lakota's pedigree is based on Edenrock Kennel, USA. Her sire is the blue merle Gold Hill's The Peacekeeper (left), her dam is "Edenrock where there's Smoke" (right).

After careful thoughts, we chose "Michel vom Rosennest" to become the father of her litter. Michel is a beautiful, sporty sable stud with a pedigree based upon American Lines.

The litter uncluded 5 pups, one of them is Heatherland's Mr. Black Jack. We tested him for CEA (OptiGen) and were very happy about the result, that he is a non-carrier for CEA.
Mr. Black Jack, called JANOSCH, has developed to a beautiful candid. These summer pictures were taken, when he was 7 months old:
