Jade is through and through a "Heatherland" Collie: she is a daughter of Hazel and Cherokee. With her, we have the third generation of self-bred Collies here at Heatherland's. When we look at her, we can see all her relatives, that we live with: She has the eyes of her mother Hazel, the gait of her sire Cherokee, the obstinacy and coat of her grandmother Annika and the urge for attention of her second grandmother Niagara :-)
Jade is whitefactored and has optimal health results. She is a non carrier of MDR1, PRA and GCS and normal eyed. She had her first litter in 2009.
All our breeding dogs are primarily our family dogs. We support their special needs and individual talents. Jade has a lot of fun with dryland-carting. We have a dog-trike, that can be drawn by one or two dogs. She loves to run in a team with her mother Hazel or, as you can see on the picture below, with Bella. They get really enthusiastic :-)
