Hazel is a daughter of our Niagara, that's why she is whitefactored. She has a wonderful dark mahogany coat, an inheritance from her father "Ascan vom Bopparder Hamm". Hazel has very good health results, that makes her very valuable for our breeding programme. And she is a real beauty! 

An attractive dark mahogany sable color with excellent form and position of the white markings. A fascinating expression, good bones, a powerful and elegant gait, perfect angulation and tail  bring her very colse to the ideal female of the breed standard. Her beautiful feminine expression, compared whith an absolutely loving nature give her a special charm, that nobody can resist. Hazel has a strong "will to please" and for that it is easy to teach and train her. She's very sporty and would prefer to spend all the day on an adventure park for dogs. Right after her favourite activity sports follows snuggling and cuddling on the sofa. Then she shows her well-being with loud concerts of moaning and mumbling.

Hazel had her first litter in 2007 and her second in 2009. 

All our breeding dogs are primarily our family dogs. We support their special needs and individual talents. Hazel has a lot of fun with dryland-carting. We have a dog-trike, that can be drawn by one or two dogs. She loves to run in a team with her daughter Jade. They get really enthusiastic :-)  

Since June 2009, Hazel is a certified official Therapy Dog  and works with me in Animal-Assisted programs with children in school and therapeutic contexts. She visits school classes, kindergarten and homes for the elderly, to allow children and senior citizens a relaxed contact with dogs, take away fears and teach children the correct way to treat dogs in ways appropiate to the dog's species. Agility is a great fun for Hazel, too. She loves it to work in a team and does her job very well.
